NATIONAL INFORMATION CENTRE - FIJI (NIC)
What is NIC?
The National Information Centre (NIC) of Fiji is a comprehensive resource for higher education information
within the country. It is overseen by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The NIC serves as a central hub
for the dissemination of information and advisory services to both local and international students
regarding higher education opportunities, higher education institutions (HEIs), available programs, courses,
and related information.
Fiji ratified the Asia-Pacific Regional Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education
(2011) on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. As a signatory to this regional convention, the primary objective of
Fiji's NIC is to provide a one-stop-shop for higher education information in Fiji.
